You can purchase and activate your membership in-person at our studio! Simply let our staff know when you check in that you'd like to join the Annual Membership. We will set up your profile in seconds and hand you your two free pieces to paint that very day!

Whenever you are ready! You can claim and paint your two free starter pieces (up to $60 combined retail value) on the day you join, or save them to redeem together in a single visit anytime during your 12-month membership year.

Simply give your name or phone number to our staff at checkout. The system will apply 20% off up to two eligible pottery or wood art items per visit, 365 days a year.

Yes! Every membership allows you to list one designated secondary household member (such as a spouse or partner) on your account. Either designated person can use the membership perks, making it easy for anyone in the home to drop in and paint.

Yes! Your 20% discount applies to up to two pieces per visit. If you are painting with a friend, you can apply your discount to one piece for yourself and one piece for them. 

Whenever an active member is seated at a table, one beverage is on the house for everyone at that table (up to 6 beverages per visit)! Just let our staff know what you’d like when you get settled. 

No, memberships do not automatically renew. Your membership runs for exactly 365 days from the date of purchase. When your year is up, simply ask us at the register to renew for another year to unlock a fresh pair of free starter pieces (up to $60 value) and keep your 20% discount active!

Memberships are attached to your individual customer profile in our system and are non-transferable. However, you are always welcome to bring guests with you and apply your 20% discount to up to 2 pieces during your shared visit! 

The 20% discount applies to the two highest-priced items on your ticket during that visit. Any additional pieces ring up at our retail price. 

Yes! Though keep in mind the 20% membership discount is capped at two pieces per visit. After those first two pieces, additional pieces ring up at our standard retail price.

Membership fees are non-refundable after purchase, except where required by law or at Paint Kirkland’s discretion.

1. Membership Program Overview & Term

Activation & Term: The Paint Kirkland Annual Membership ("Membership") is valid for exactly three hundred sixty-five (365) calendar days from the date of purchase ("Term").

Non-Auto-Renewing: Memberships do not automatically renew. Upon expiration on Day 366, membership benefits will cease unless the member manually elects to renew for an additional 12-month term at the then-current annual membership price.

Non-Transferable & Non-Refundable: Membership fees are non-refundable after purchase, except where required by law or at Paint Kirkland’s discretion. Memberships cannot be transferred, resold, or assigned to individuals outside the registered household.

2. Account Eligibility & Designated Household Member

Primary Account Holder: Each Membership is linked to one (1) primary named individual in the Paint Kirkland Point-of-Sale (POS) system.

Secondary Household Member Allowance: The primary account holder may designate one (1) secondary named member residing in the same household (e.g., spouse or partner). Either designated individual may access and redeem membership perks upon presenting photo ID or account verification at the register.

3. Included Starter Perk (Two Free Pieces)

Scope & Value: Each annual membership cycle includes two (2) complimentary starter pieces (pottery or handcrafted wood art) up to a maximum combined retail value of $60.00.

Single-Transaction Redemption Rule: The two (2) starter pieces must be selected and claimed together in a single transaction. They may be claimed on the day of initial sign-up/renewal or saved to be redeemed together during a future studio visit within the active 365-day Term. Starter pieces cannot be split across separate visits or transactions.

Overage & Expiration: If the combined retail value of the two selected starter pieces exceeds $60.00, the member is responsible for paying the remaining balance. Unclaimed starter pieces expire at the end of the 365-day Term, do not roll over upon renewal, cannot be converted to store credit, and carry no cash value.

4. Everyday Member Discount (20% Off Pottery & Wood)

Scope: Active members receive 20% off up to two (2) eligible pottery or standard wood art projects per studio visit, limited to one discounted visit per calendar day. The discount automatically applies to the two highest-priced eligible items on the ticket. Membership discounts may be used during birthday parties and private events on up to two individually priced eligible pottery or wood pieces.

Usage Limits: The discount is limited to two eligible pieces per studio visit, with a maximum of one discounted studio visit per calendar day, regardless of the number of transactions or separate checks. Any additional pieces (3rd item or beyond) purchased during the same visit ring up at standard retail pricing.

Exclusions: The 20% membership discount applies strictly to standard open-studio pottery and wood painting. It explicitly excludes: custom laser commissions, wall art, ticketed classes, workshops, off-site partner events, corporate event rentals, studio buyouts, fundraisers, gift cards, food, retail beverages, snacks, take-home kits or retail merchandise. Membership discounts do not apply to room fees, event fees, deposits, package charges, or other party-related fees.

No Promotional Stacking: Membership discounts cannot be combined with seasonal coupons, promotional codes, birthday party rates, or other promotional discounts.

5. Tabletop Hospitality (Complimentary Tea & Cocoa)

Scope: Active members and guests seated at the member’s table receive one (1) complimentary house hot tea or hot cocoa during an active painting session (maximum of 6 complimentary servings per visit).

Requirements: The primary or secondary named member must be present in person. Specialty bottled beverages, alcohol, and catered event drinks are excluded.

6. General Conditions & Rights

Studio Rules: All members and their guests must abide by standard Paint Kirkland studio rules, safety guidelines, and pickup policies for fired ceramics.

Policy Modifications: Paint Kirkland reserves the right to adjust studio operating hours, inventory selections, or minor program parameters. Any material updates to terms will be communicated via email or posted on the official website.
