Thursday, August 6th | 6 - 8 PM | $15 per person (pottery purchased separately)
Advance registration is required
New to pottery painting—or ready to make your projects look more polished? Join us for a beginner-friendly workshop covering the essential techniques you can use on almost any pottery piece.
We’ll demonstrate how to choose a coordinated color palette, load and control your brush, apply smooth and even coats, create clean edges, and add simple decorative details. You’ll also learn how pottery paints change during firing and how to avoid common issues such as streaky coverage, overly thick paint, and colors blending together unintentionally.
After the demonstration, choose a pottery piece and practice the techniques with guidance from our team. No experience is needed.
Monday, August 10th | 6 - 8 PM | $38 per person (pottery included!)

This is a fun, creative activity for kids and families. No class fee or registration is required—simply choose your ceramic animal and join us anytime during regular studio hours.

Young makers will paint, personalize, and assemble their own reusable wooden word game. Each participant will decorate a laser-cut game box and paint a set of wooden letter dice before learning how to shake, search, and build words with their finished game.
This hands-on workshop combines painting, simple construction, creativity, spelling, and friendly competition. We’ll guide participants through planning their design, painting and assembling the game, and playing a quick word challenge at the end of class.
Participants will take their completed game home at the end of the workshop.
Recommended for ages 8–12. Workshop capacity: 8 young makers.
